a ONEspace 'Liberation' Lab Series
This lab is a brave space for artists and activists and those working at living & sharing a life congruent with their/our True Nature.
A foundations study and pre-requisite for participation in the 2019 Performance Art Intensive, it is focused around SEWing, the performance art & liberation practice developed by ONEspace founder, Candace M. Younghans.
Self Exploration Witnessing (SEWing) requires: a dedication to truth and honesty with one's Self, the choice to explore new terrain and discover what that really means [for you], the courage to share/amplify/expand, witness and be witnessed by community in that vulnerable re-membering.
It is a tool for dissolving the personal (often unconscious) identity barriers that keep us separate from ourselves and each other.
It is a tool for strengthening one's presence...
It is a tool for the storytellers of our times...
It is a tool for deepening communication and relationship with one's self and one's community.
It is
a body based exploration
of our 'internal picture book'
of [ALL] Truth[s],
of our relationship with SELF
--the individual and the collective SELF--
For Performance

Inner-to-Outer Activism

(**) Completion of all 3 weekends of lab series to participate in the (optional) lab performance - The SEWing Show
The payment exchange utilizes a Community Weaving Sponsorship Model
All participants will be sponsored (either through seeking sponsorship or being offered sponsorship)
We are also welcoming folks to sign up as Sponsors, Patrons and Contributors
Registration is open - maximum # participants: 10

+ Performance [The SEWing Show](**) date TBD
- Fridays 6-9, Sat 12:30-4:30, Sundays 1-5pm
- (*) Includes 3 private, 2 hr SEWing sessions with Candace to be scheduled with each participant individually - 1st SEWing session should be before the group work begins/ before October 5.
- The SEWing Show performance (optional) - date TBD (either afternoon of 4th, or evening of 5th or 9th)
(**) Completion of all 3 weekends of lab series to participate in the (optional) lab performance - The SEWing Show
