About the Heart Warrior Project:The Heart Warrior Project is a social research, documentary film and performance art project aimed at healing and halting trans-generational trauma by shining a light on the biggest pains in our society and illuminating them as an opportunity for great healing. We are addressing post-war integration for military veterans and their families by inviting heart to heart conversations that connect us to the heart of the matter.
The Heart Warrior Project mission
to investigate the connection between un-tended trauma and community wholeness.
We are looking into 'community' through the lens of the collective's failure to support the welfare of military veterans and their families. We identify this difficult fact as a reflection of a larger systemic issue that is affecting ALL of us.
We believe that together, we can weave the Heart Warrior Compassion-net.
Strengthening the lived practice of community and providing deep and true emotional and spiritual support for veterans of war and ALL who need it.
